Homely and well-furnished

The lodge area comprises two buildings. One building accommodates four comfortable rooms for eight people, while the other building provides spacious living quarters. It has been designed in such a way to take full advantage of the 180 degree views. The secluded location without light pollution ensures a clear, spectacular starry sky.

OPEN-PLAN LIVING AREA

The spacious living area offers a fully equipped kitchen, generous dining area, and lounge from where you have beautiful views of the area. Cook and enjoy meals together and take pleasure in the silence of this special place.

The kitchen features a gas stove, electric oven, a fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, quality crockery, and cutlery. (See a comprehensive list below) There is a scullery and a separate toilet with a basin. The entertainment area has a fireplace, comfortable sofas and a large dining table. It opens onto a verandah on one side and on the other side the staircase leading to the rooftop deck.

BEDROOMS

The house sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, making it ideal for a large group or family.

The main bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed with en-suite bathroom (shower, basin and toilet). The 2x two-bed rooms each has en-suite shower and toilet. The 2x single-bed rooms share a bathroom. Each of the four rooms has a small study area, own towels and every bed has an electric blanket to sleep warm. There is a library area and reading corner with sofa.

ROOFTOP VERANDAH

You're invited to enjoy a panoramic view of the area while savoring a sundowner on the rooftop deck. An evening barbecue will be a lovely experience as you may see springbuck going about their daily activities. Breakfast at the downstairs verandah with a beautiful African sunrise as you take in the sights and sounds of the local birdlife - the perfect way to start your day.

The verandah has an 8-seater outdoor dining table if you prefer to eat outside. The deck upstairs leads out onto a large open-air area that has a patio table, seating 8 and a built-in undercover barbecue. Here you can enjoy spectacular sunrise and sunset views. The farm horses may also graze in the distance. In the evening you can curl up outside with a blanket and enjoy the cosmic show in the sky.
